About Karianne
Hi! I’m Karianne Punt, founder of Beacon of Balance. My passion for people and behavior is at the heart of my work. I don’t think outside the box, preferring to think outside the box, and that’s how my training and coaching are structured: accessible and judgment-free. With over 14 years of experience at KLM, I’ve trained thousands of people, and I can safely say that training and coaching are in my blood. I’ve done this at various levels and settings within the company. I’ve provided training in communication techniques, stress management, team building, dealing with resistance/aggression, and have coached people with issues like insecurity and stress.
A few years ago, I changed course and decided to pour all my passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm into my own practice. My background in psychology and my coaching training at the Dutch Academy of Psychology have given me a solid foundation. I also learned a lot through internal training programs as a trainer at KLM. I now do what I love most: helping people and companies gain resilience, balance, and greater happiness.
The feedback I often receive after training sessions is that I come across as authentic. My training sessions are interactive, and I value a positive and relaxed atmosphere. And… there should also be room for humor and fun! My open and accessible approach makes participants feel comfortable and motivated to grow.
